Mr. Mazloom received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University and received a Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta. He has successfully completed Trial Advocacy at the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina.

He was honored by the Cobb County Bar Association with the 2005 Ross Adam’s Younger Lawyer Award and in 2008 he received the Cobb County Bar Association President's Award for Outstanding Dedication, Service, and Hard Work.

Throughout his practice, Mr. Mazloom has handled thousands of cases in a wide variety of legal areas. He began his practice in the areas of Consumer Bankruptcy (Chapter 7 and Chapter 13), Plaintiffs Personal Injury, Immigration and Criminal Defense.

He was then appointed by the Honorable Barry E. Morgan, Solicitor General of the Cobb Judicial Circuit, as an Assistant Solicitor General and became the first Iranian-American prosecutor in the State of Georgia*. (* Verified with the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council of Georgia.) He was sworn into office and handled thousands of misdemeanors, traffic violations and DUI cases as a prosecutor in the State Court of Cobb County.

Mr. Mazloom was then appointed by the Honorable Patrick H. Head, District Attorney for the Cobb Judicial Circuit, as an Assistant District Attorney. He was sworn into office and handled felony cases as a prosecutor on behalf of State of Georgia in the Superior Courts of Cobb County.

Additionally, Mr. Mazloom has been honored to serve as Lodge Attorney for F.O.P Kermit Sanders Lodge #13 since 2004. He also sits as a Judge Pro Hac Vice in the State Court of Cobb County.

He is also a part-time instructor at Kennesaw State University, Paralegal Program and has established the Mazloom Paralegal Endowed Scholarships to award deserving candidates with the financial assistance required to complete the Paralegal Certificate Program.

On July 22, 2008 Attorney Mazloom was sworn in as an Associate Judge to the Muncipal Court of Marietta.

His experiences, both in and out of court, give him the knowledge and tools needed to thoroughly evaluate cases and properly represent his clients.
